Hi. I am Mrs. Bloomer, ELA teacher of 47 third graders at Apex Elementary School (23 homeroom, 24 switch class). I have 13 years of teaching under my belt. I am mom to three AES Cougars of my own. I look forward to an engaging and exciting third grade year.

My Family -Married to my husband whom I met on a blind date for 14 years - 3 children--ages 8, 9 and 11 ( all of whom attend AES) - We like to go on adventures as small as sledding on the pool hill to the beach to as big as Hawaii with our whole extended family. -15 year residents of Apex-- although we have moved around this town three times. We finally settled, about 2 years ago, in a 1901 "fixer upper" bungaglow near downtown Apex. WE <heart> Apex!!

- my family -teaching -photography -color--navy blue, turquoise, red, yellow -Shows/Channels: (in those rare moments I have time to just settle on the couch for a bit) Fixer Upper, HGTV, Food Network, This is Us (only saw once, due to that "time thing", but loved it), Football/Basketball with "my boy" -beach--Bald Head Island -board games with the family--Farkle, SkipBo, Yahtzee, Wits and Wagers, good ole Uno, Battle Ship, Jungle Jive, NFL Rush Zone (with "my boy", again) and more children's books--Yo!Yes?, The One and Only Ivan, No Talking, Mr. Lemoncello's Library, Clementine series and more... candy-- "chewy ones" like Sour Patch Watermelon or Kids, Swedish Fish, Twizzlers crunchy snack--pretzels--plain, dipped in guacamole, or yogurt covered, also popcorn drink-- sparkling flavored water (Trader Joe's) or Peach/Green Tea stores--Target, Home Goods, Amazon.com
